How Our Network Works
Talk to a provider
Who you talk to
You talk to an independent tree removal provider. Technologydiscussed Tree Service makes the introduction, then steps back. The provider is the business that visits your property, gives the quote and does the work.
Each provider sets its own schedule, prices and crew. That is why availability and quotes differ from one provider to the next.
What happens on the call
Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will want to know:
- Where the tree is and how close it stands to the house, wires or fences
- Roughly how tall and wide it is
- Whether it is dead, leaning, split or already down
- Whether a truck can reach the spot
- Whether you want the stump ground out
Photos help. A provider may also schedule a visit before quoting, especially for large or tangled jobs.
Request a callback to check provider availability. Hours vary by provider.
What to ask a provider
Keep the list short and specific.
- Are you licensed where required, and can you show proof of insurance?
- Is the quote written, and what does it include?
- Is cleanup and wood hauling part of the price?
- How will you protect the roof, lawn and nearby structures?
- Does the quote include stump grinding, or is that separate?
- Who will be on site, and what equipment will they use?
Vague answers are a signal to keep asking. A solid provider explains the plan plainly.
What you can safely do yourself
Clear the work area. Move cars, patio furniture and anything breakable. Take photos of the tree and any damage. Note where utility lines run. Keep kids and pets away.
Leave the cutting to the provider. Trees under tension, trees near power lines and anything above head height need professional gear and training.
You are in control
A request does not commit you to anything. You can compare quotes, ask for changes or decline. If a provider pushes you to decide on the spot, take a step back. Know your options before you agree.
